My Great Grandmother Elizabeth Bennett (Born Camden Town 1884)won this medal for punctual attendance at school every day during the year 1896, it has her name engraved on it. How many children today would be eligible for such a medal and even if they were, they wouldn't be likely to get one. This Victorian medal appears to be made of lead, also something that would not be given to children these days.
