My Grandad was stationed in Norway during the war and made friends with a Norwegian family, their grandfather carved the hut for my mother and her sister, Grandad sent the hut over in separate parcels, it was handed down to me and in turn it will be given to my daughter, the carved man was a self portrait of the old Grandfather
