Murphy Radio Sports Day poster

This poster is one of a series of posters produced to publicise the annual Murphy Sports Day in Welwyn Garden City. The Sports Day was held every year, in July, from 1955 to 1960 and people came from all around the Welwyn area to take part. The posters were all designed by Mr James Reeve, a designer with the Murphy Radio company. Mr Reeve started working for Murphy in 1940 aged 15 and continued with them until 1970.
