Line’s Brothers Musical Car

'A minic clockwork scale model with real music' that plays Silent Night. This car was made at the Triang Works, Merton, London and was a present to the contributor's brother. Triang toys were competitively priced and brightly coloured. Lines Bros Ltd could sell for low prices as they produced large numbers of toys in factories all over the world. Lines Bros factories made munitions during World War Two and were reputedly able to advise the MOD on effective production. Lines Bros engineers developed the 'Sten' gun which saw extensive war use.
