travel permit october 1914

This 4 sided document, made from heavy paper, is written in Danish, French, English and German and has a photo of my Grandmother and 2 of her 7 children. It gives permission to my Grandmother and 5 of the children to travel from Denmark to England in October 1914. My grandparents were both Danish but married and lived in England as Grandfather was a trawlerman. Grandmother had taken the children to the family in Denmark for the summer and when war broke out Grandfather wanted them to stay but they had no winter clothes for themselves. They sailed from Esbjerg and the journey took twice as long as normal as they were stopped several times on the way. However they all arrived safely.
