Coronation of Queen Victoria

Richard Lyon brought along this painting of, and a couple of actual invitations to, a celebratory commemoration party for Queen Victoria. The 'great meal' was held on Parker's Piece in Cambridge on Thursday 28th June 1838 and 15,000 people attended. The red invitation has written on the back of it the name of the family invitied to the great dinner - the Dickerson family.
