Violin

Contributed by Antiques Roadshow - Hutton-in-the-Forest

Dug out of rubble on a bomb site in the Lorraine region of France in 1942, this violin survived due to its heavy oak case. It was given to the owner in the 1950s as she gained a music scholarship in Switzerland.
