WW1 Decorated Shell Case

This WW1 Decorated Shell Case is now used to keep Knitting Needles in. It was my Great Great Great Great Grandads. Its been past down to my Great Great Auntie, because it was her Dads before it came in to her property. The black dots you can see in it, were punched in by the soldiers by a nail in a trench. I'm not really sure how it came into his property, but I know that it has been in the family for quite a while.
