PS Crested Eagle Deckchair

This is a deckchair from the paddle steamer Crested Eagle. It was used aboard the famous ship on cruises to the seaside from London during the 1920s and 1930s. When war broke out in 1939 it was 'borrowed' by a steward for his family. The paddle steamer sank at Dunkirk so this object is a fascinating and rare survivor from a popular old ship.
