Iron Age Pottery from Mersea

This piece of pottery was found on East Mersea Island beach by Peter Wiltcher whilst out walking. Peter regularly looks for items of interest on the beach and takes part in metal detecting. Peter brought the object down to the BBC Essex bus on Colchester high street for inclusion in the 'A History of the World' project.
