A handwritten message in German on the back of the picture translates into something along the lines that the writer is looking forward to the Fuhrer's visit to Hamburg where he will see the beautifully decorated streets. There is no date but I imagine it was before the war. My father acquired the little picture in 1945 when he was serving with the occupying forces.
