LT Bus Ticket Machine by George Gibson

All older Londoners will be familiar with this ticket machine - used on all London Transport Buses between 1953 and 1993 when they were replaced with electronic versions. It was designed internally for London Transport by George Gibson in their ticket machune works. The Gibson made a familiar noise when it dispensed tickets and legitimised ones journey throughout the capital - A noise sadly missed as its reliability traversed several new technology thresholds.
