child's leather slippers

My mother was born in 1914 and didn't see her father until he retturned from the war in 1918. He had been a prisoner of war in Uzgad in Turkey. When he came home he brought a pair of childrens slippers as a gift for her. They didn't fit and so were never worn. I still have them.
