Boer War letter on cartridge paper

New Year greeting written on cartridge paper sent from South Africa(Boer War)December 23rd 1901 by my Grandfather Sgt. Robert Green Hargreaves (Rough Rider) to his family in the UK. The reverse of the letter shows in red words - Cartridge and Cordite. Sgt. Hargreaves became Major Hargreaves in the Canadian Army during 1st World War and founded the first scout troup in British Columbia (Vancouver) in 1907 and was awarded a flag by the Premier of Canada.
