Covenanter Gravestone

Covenantor Gravestone

Uploaded by Past Lives on behalf of Dane Love:
This gravestone is from Airds Moss and commemorates the famous covenanter Richard Cameron, killed in 1680. Memorials like this exist all over Scotland, reminding us of the religious struggles in Scotland's past and the thousands who died for their faith. When the Covenanters Association replaced Cameron's monument, I couldn't allow this important artefact to disappear. Until it finds a new home in a museum, it's welcome to stay in my back garden.
