Peacock shaped grinder for coconuts

This ornate kitchen utensil is used to extract coconut meat and is still used today by my mum for the same purpose. This object could easily be mistaken for art so it demonstrates what care and thought was taken creating what is, in its simplest form, a tool for the kitchen.
