Family Bible

Contributed by Waddington and West Bradford Primary School

This is the Duck family Bible. We are not certain how old it is, but it records births, marriages and deaths of the Duck family over 140 years. It starts with the marriage of Albert George Duck and Anne Duck. They were my Great, Great Great Grandpa and Grandma. The youngest person recorded is my cousin Orin who was born in 2006.
It is a very big and heavy book! It weighs 13.3kg which is only a bit less than my sister Connie, whose name is also in the Bible!)
The Bible is leather bound and was published by James S Virtue of London and New York. It has all the text of the old and new testaments as well as lots of notes and detailed black and white illustrations.
