Menu Card, Fox Films 1st dinner 8/7/16

My grandfather Edward Grattan Milloy attended this dinner as a cinema owner in the NW of England. It was the inaugral dinner of what was to become 20th Century Fox. He also attended the 50th anniversary dinner where I believe they used a facsimile of the orginal menu card. My grandfather was the only attendee who had been at the orginal dinner.
He worked for 20th Century Fox from about 1916 and continued with them for the rest of his working life. In the early days he had been a traveller renting films in London for then renting on to cinemas around Manchester. He bought his first car in 1913. He then bought a number of cinemas in the North West of England. Violet Carson (Ena Sharples of Coronation Street) played the piano in one of his cinemas for the silent movies as a young teenager.
