Changing colours in Internet Explorer
This page explains step-by-step how to change the text and background colours in Internet Explorer for Mac OS 8 and 9
Instructions

Click on the ' Edit ' Menu and select ' Preferences ' or press ' Apple ' + ' ; '.

If you cannot see a list of bulleted options under ' Web Browser ' click the arrow next to ' Web Browser ' to expand the options list
as shown in Fig 1(No keyboard shortcut).

Click on the ' Web Content ' section or press the down arrow until it is highlighted (see Fig 1 above).
- Click the button next to ' Text: ' to bring up the Mac OS colour picker - see Fig 2 (No keyboard shortcut).

- Click on the ' Crayon Picker ' in the left section or press ' Tab' until the left-hand section is highlighted and use the up and down arrows to select ' Crayon Picker '.
- Click on a crayon colour to select it or press ' Apple' which will change the icon to an 'Eyedropper' and click anywhere on the screen while still holding the ' Apple ' key down to pick the colour from where you clicked (No keyboard shortcut).
- Click ' OK ' to return to the Internet Explorer ' Preferences or press ' Enter '.
- Repeat the steps 4 - 7 for the ' Background: ' , ' Read Links: ' and ' Unread Links: ' colours if you need to change them.
- Next uncheck the checkbox next to ' Allow page to specify colours ' as shown in Fig 3 (No keyboard shortcut).

Click the ' OK ' button or press ' Enter ' to return to Internet Explorer.
Note: If this does not work it could be because your computer settings cannot be changed due to local IT policies - contact your local IT support for further help.
