How to make the text larger in Opera 9 for Windows

To increase or decrease the magnification of a web page in Opera, press '+' (plus) to zoom in by 10%, or '-' (minus) to zoom out by 10%. To return the page to its original size, press Ctrl + 0 or press * (asterisk).

You can also do this via the menu bar. Click on 'View' and then 'Zoom' in the drop-down menu, or press Alt + V and then press Z.

Click on the amount by which you want to increase or decrease the text size, or use the up and down arrow keys to highlight the value you want and then press Enter.

Step 1: Open the 'Preferences' window

Click on 'Tools' in the menu bar and then 'Preferences' from the drop-down menu, or press Alt + T and then press R.

In the 'Preferences' window (shown in Fig 1), click on the 'Web pages' tab, or press Ctrl + Tab to cycle through the tabs until it is selected.

Step 2: Set the zoom amount for all web pages you visit

Click on the drop-down button beside 'Page zoom', or press Tab until it is highlighted. Scroll up and down using the mouse or the arrow keys to select the percentage by which you want the page size to be increased or decreased.

Click on the 'OK' button, or press Enter, to finish and return to Opera.
