How to make the text larger in Firefox 3 for Windows

To increase or decrease the magnification of a web page in Firefox, press Ctrl and '+' (plus) to zoom in or Ctrl and '-' (minus) to zoom out. To return the page to its original size, press Ctrl + 0.

You can also do this via the menu bar. Click on 'View' and then 'Zoom' in the drop-down menu, as shown in Fig 1. Or press Alt + V and then press Z. If you want to only change the text size rather than everything on the web page, make sure 'Zoom Text Only' is ticked. You can tick or untick it by clicking on it or by pressing T.

Click 'Zoom In' or press I to increase the text size. Click 'Zoom Out' or press O to decrease it.

Step 1: Open the 'Fonts' window

Click on 'Tools' in the menu bar and then 'Options' from the drop-down menu, or press Alt + T and then press O.

In the 'Options' window (shown in Fig 1), click on the 'Content' tab, or press the left and right arrow keys to cycle through the tabs until it is selected.

Under the 'Fonts & Colours' header, click the 'Advanced' button or press Alt + A.

Step 2: Set a minimum text size for all web pages you visit

In the 'Fonts' window (shown in Fig 2), click on the drop-down list beside 'Minimum font size' or press Alt + O. Scroll up and down using the mouse or the arrow keys to select the minimum font size you want.

Click on the 'OK' button, or press Tab until it is highlighted and press Enter, to return to the 'Options' window.

Click on the 'OK' button, or press Tab until it is highlighted and press Enter, to finish and return to Firefox.
