Introduction to the Ease of Access Center
The 'Ease of Access Center' has replaced 'Accessibility Options' (which was used in earlier versions of Windows) in the 'Control Panel' of Windows 7. The Ease of Access Center is the central location in Windows 7 for finding the tools to help you adapt your settings and make changes quickly to improve accessibility.

Step 1: Open the 'Ease of Access Center' window
To open the 'Ease of Access Center' window, press the Windows key + U, or click the 'Start' button, followed by 'Control Panel', then 'Ease of Access', then 'Ease of Access Center'.
In Windows 7 you can also access the 'Ease of Access Center' at the login prompt.
Step 2: Explore the options
'Quick access to common tools' (Fig 1), lets you quickly start and run the Magnifier, Narrator and On-screen Keyboard and switch on High Contrast, until you log out.

The Ease of Access Centre can also present you with a series of personalised recommendations (based on a questionnaire) of tools and changes to settings that might help you improve accessibility. Select 'Get recommendations to make your computer easier to use' (Fig 2) to start the wizard.

'Explore all settings' (Fig 3) allows you to configure and turn on the different accessibility tools so that they start automatically when you log in.
