How to change your fonts in web browsers for Windows
These pages explain step-by-step how to change the default fonts you see when you look at pages in web browsers running on Windows systems. (If you want instructions for a different operating system, choose a different setup.)

This guide explains step-by-step how to determine which version of your web browser you are running on a Windows setup. You may need this information for some of the How to guides on this website, as older versions of web browsers may have different commands, menus, etc than more recent versions.

Open Firefox.
Click on 'Help' in the menu bar or press Alt + H.
In the drop-down menu, click on 'About Mozilla Firefox' or press A to open the window shown in Fig 1.

Open Google Chrome.
Click on the Spanner menu icon, as shown in Fig 2.
Alternatively, press Shift + Alt + T to access the toolbar, then use the left and right arrow keys to select the Spanner menu icon (the tool tip will say 'Customise and control Google Chrome'), and then press Enter.

In the drop-down menu, click on 'About Google Chrome' or press G to open the window shown in Fig 3.

Open Internet Explorer.
Click on 'Help' in the menu bar or press Alt + H.
In the drop-down menu, click on 'About Internet Explorer' or press A to open the window shown in Fig 4.

Open Opera.
Click on 'Help' in the menu bar or press Alt + H.
In the drop-down menu, click on 'About Opera' or press A to open the window shown in Fig 5.

Note: In Opera 10.5 and later, if the menu bar is not visible you will need to select the 'Help' menu by clicking on the Opera logo (the big red 'O' at the top-left of the browser) and choosing 'Help' from the drop-down menu that appears.
Open Safari.
Click on 'Help' in the menu bar or press Alt + H.
In the drop-down menu, click on 'About Safari' or press B to open the window shown in Fig 6.
