How to change your colours in web browsers for Mac OS X

This page explains step-by-step how to determine which version of your web browser you are running on a Mac OS X setup. You may need this information for some of the How to guides on this website, as older versions of web browsers may have different commands, menus, etc than more recent versions.

Open Firefox.
Click on 'Firefox' in the menu bar, or press Ctrl + F2 to highlight the menu bar and then press the right arrow to open the 'Firefox' drop-down menu.
In the drop-down menu, click on 'About Mozilla Firefox', or press the down arrow to highlight 'About Mozilla Firefox' and then press Enter, to open the window shown in Fig 1.

Open Opera.
Click on 'Opera' in the menu bar, or press Ctrl + F2 to highlight the menu bar and then press the right arrow to open the 'Opera' drop-down menu.
In the drop-down menu, click on 'About Opera', or press the down arrow to highlight 'About Opera' and then press Enter, to open the window shown in Fig 2.

Open Safari.
Click on 'Safari' in the menu bar, or press Ctrl + F2 to highlight the menu bar and then press the right arrow to open the 'Safari' drop-down menu.
