Radio Fast Train tickets now available

Tickets for Radio Fast Train, the unmissable free training day for radio professionals, are now up for grabs here.

Taking place at the BBC Academy's headquarters in London on 7 February, the event is open to anyone who works in the radio industry in the UK who has at least two production credits to their name.

It's the ideal opportunity for freelancers and professionals in independent production companies, commercial and community radio to learn new skills, get inspired, and network.

Hosted by the Academy in partnership with Skillset, Radio Fast Train is being produced in association with the Radio Academy, Radio Independents Group, RadioCentre, the Community Media Association, Sound Women and BECTU.

The day focuses on four themes close to the heart of the industry: ideas, technology, skills and business.

This means a wide choice of sessions on a range of topics including but not confined to: creative thinking, pitching workshops, microphone techniques, location recording, live studio production, editorial values, social media, app making, podcasting, and finance for freelancers.

Please note: attendees can book a maximum of three training sessions but an unlimited number of masterclasses.
