- Liz leads and manages finance across BBC People, BBC Operations, BBC Marketing & Audiences, and BBC Finance.
- She is responsible for the overall management of their finances, and, in partnership with the Directors, is accountable for the overall financial and business performance of these groups.
- She is a member of the Finance & Business Afairs Board.
- She also sits on the management boards of BBC People, the BBC Operations Group, and Marketing & Audiences.

Expenses are costs incurred by BBC staff on behalf of the BBC and claimed through the BBC's expenses system (e-expenses).
