Roles and responsibilities
role is to deliver strategic leadership to UK-wide in-house network production
teams and the multimedia production community across Drama, Comedy &
focus is primarily on delivering Public Service programming in the UK but he is
also responsible for building the BBC’s global presence – managing our global
relationships and working with our strategic partners to find and develop the
best ideas in the most efficient way, and attracting and retaining the best
Mark was promoted into this role in January 2014 (he was previously UK
Controller of Comedy Production) and sits on the Television Board.
