Roles and responsibilities

  • Clare leads the Human Resources team and is responsible for the overall HR direction and leadership to meet the medium to long-term strategic objectives for BBC Television, BBC North and BBC Nations.
  • She is responsible for delivering all HR services to the divisions, including training and development, recruitment, reward, diversity, employment policy and organisation design.
  • She works in partnership with HR Shared Services to ensure ongoing delivery of daily HR operational support.
  • Clare is a member of the Television Board.
