Roles and responsibilities

  • Chris is responsible for overseeing the organisation and the effective running of the Radio Group on behalf of the Director, Radio.
  • ​She coordinates Radio activity in response to BBC-wide policy and direction, as well as being a key contact with the Corporate Centre in dealing with the Executive Board, BBC Direction Group and BBC Trust.
  • She manages Radio's relationship with independent production houses and ensures that the division's commissioning processes are transparent and in line with the rest of the BBC.
  • Chris takes a leading role in communication across the group and with external networks of opinion formers and press.
  • Chris is a member of the Radio Group Board.
