Steve is a big supporter of Student Radio in the UK. He hosted the very first Student Radio Awards in 1996 and went on to be the Awards Chair for three years. As such he felt it was about time to give Student Radio a little bit more national exposure.

Throughout 2009 Lammo will be focusing on a different Student Radio Station each week, chatting with a member of staff about their station, their playlist and what music is getting their audience all excitable.
