Jon is a rising star on the stand up comedy circuit, In Edinburgh this year he was a nominee for the 2007 Intelligent Finance Best Newcomer for his 'Spatula Pad'.
2006 was a great year for Jon after appearing on the Comedy Zone at the Edinburgh Festival, completing a 60 date UK and Irish tour with Alan Carr and an appearance on Paramount's 'The Comedy Store'.
In his first ever gig (May 2003); Jon won his heat of the BBC New Talent Comedy Search. He also reached the Semi-Finals of the Laughing Horse New Act competition.
Quickly developing throughout 2004 he was one of six acts to reach the final of the J20 Last Laugh Comedy Search.
Having impressed a sell-out crowd in Bristol he marked the end of his first year in comedy with a performance at the Criterion Theatre in London's West End. Judges Jasper Carrot and Dave Spikey were both "extremely impressed" with Jon's performance.
He can now be seen at clubs nationwide, including regular appearances at The Bristol Comedy Box, The Glee Clubs (Birmingham and Cardiff) and Brighton Komedia. He has performed in France, Spain and Greece and will this year be taking his first hour-long show, “Spatula Pad”, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
