This album is as rich in its content as the rivers in Wales where it's architect would have fished as a lad. Bibio takes his name from the inconspicuous black and red fly fishing, known to all anglers as the bait to lure in colourful rainbow trout. He's now come to the Warp fold and fellow label mates Boards of Canada are fans who have called Bibio "The antidote to the modern laptopia of pristine electronic music". I really like Jealous of Roses which is the second track on this treasure trove of an album but if you get the chance listen to some more. Again seems perfect timing for Bibio's album to land in the lunchbox - lending itself perfectly to self indulgent summer afternoons in the park.
