I'm still trying to work out if they're taking the mick…the name, the track title, the lyrics…all brought into sharp focus with the swirly electro backing on this track. They claim Music for Hairproducts has been written on kiddies instruments, moogs and old school drum machines all of which combine beautifully underneath a stupidly simple and catchy Sha-la-la chorus. Light, blissful and immediately lodged in your head this Arthur and Martha (real band members names apparently) single is the perfect antidote to the doom and gloom enveloping the UK news at the moment.
