Smoke Fairies - Frozen Heart

Bluesy dirty folk these girls are rocking a potent mix. It is the fuzzy guitars that get you first then the girls’ voices glide in...Jessica and Katherine effortlessly chasing each other’s harmonies.

Surviving their recent lock in at a B&B in Bath I fully expect they took Glastonbury by storm at the weekend. Aged 11 they were put in the same class at school and from there they hatched their plan for musical world domination...well they 'made detailed plans in our exercise books on how we would form a band and travel around'.

Whilst driving late at night on the country roads of Sussex they became aware that on special nights Smoke Fairies formed out of the mist to confuse and scare drivers. They say 'when we were old enough we left England and went and lived in New Orleans for a year and then journeyed around until we settled in Vancouver for a while. We are now trying to be sensible and stay in one place for a while to work on music.'
