Natasha's Biography
Natasha began her music career as Programme Controller for Crystal Palace FC's own radio station, where she was responsible for producing, scripting and coordinating the station's programming. From there she moved to Invicta FM, where her husky tones and wicked sense of risqué fun livened up late night listening in Kent.

Joining XFM in central London, Tash fronted the late night Chill Out Room until her fast-rising popularity earned her a spot on the Breakfast Session alongside celebrity guests such as Iain Lee from RI:SE, 0400 starts being no barrier to Natasha's style and wit - although very bad for a social life and gigs!

From 2003, Natasha fused music with football for Saturday afternoons and music with comedy for Sunday mornings - writing and co-presenting with Perrier Award nominated comedian Jimmy Carr.

Not content with simply being a 'voice' on the radio, Natasha is also a well respected radio producer, having produced all her own shows on XFM. She has recently formed a radio & TV production company and is currently developing ideas alongside Channel 4.

First record you bought?
I'll be honest with you - I really fancied Shakin' Stevens at the age of 9 and gladly spent my pocket money on This Ole House. He must have been well into his 30s at the time but I still reckoned I'd have a good chance of marrying him as soon as my breasts developed. I'm still waiting - for Shaky, not for my breasts to develop.

Best gig?
I love all live music so it's hard to narrow it down to just one great gig. The Foo Fighters played a secret, intimate gig at The Scala in 2000, which was incredible. Brian Wilson performing Pet Sounds at the Royal Festival Hall a few years back is the only gig where I have found myself moved to tears. Also, although I was never really a fan of Pulp, I went to see them at Brixton Academy in 2002 and thought they were amazing. In fact, I enjoyed itso much, I rushed out the next day to buy their entire back catalogue.

Six records you couldn't live without
* Let There Be Rock by AC/DC - Turned up to 11 of course.
* Grace by Jeff Buckley - The whole album still gives me goosebumps each time I hear it.
* Surf's Up by the Beach Boys - Til' I Die is my favourite song ever.
*After The Goldrush by Neil Young - If only for When You Dance (I Can Really Love). A genius.
*Around The World In A Day by Prince - Prince simply was the king of pop in the 80s.
*Sea Change by Beck - For some reason I've found this the most addictive album in years.

First record you ever played on the radio?
When You're Gone by Mel C & Bryan Adams.

A record that makes you laugh?
Benny Bullfrog by Madness. I still laugh at the constant belching throughout the track. I think it's meant to be the frog croaking, but it's so clearly human burping. "Long-legged, pop-eyed, fat-necked Benny Bullfrog."

A record that sounds better in the dark?
The Flamingos. I Only Have Eyes For You is the most romantic song ever recorded.

A song you wish you'd written?
You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' by The Righteous Brothers - for the royalties. It's been played on the radio over 8m times. I'd be happy and rich.

Soundtrack for a long car journey?
Decade by Neil Young. Perfect to listen to when driving down the A303 towards Cornwall late at night.
