On Tuesday Marc Riley had live music from not only Wild Billy Childish and band (pictured) but also Slow Club.Listen icon Listen again


Monday:   Django Django drop in  for a live session and there's our first dip into the archive session selection box.

Tuesday:  We have live music from Jesca Hoop and  a further selection from our salad bar of archive sessions .

Wednesday:  Former Pop Group/Rig Rig and Panic mastermind Gareth Sager plays live plus there's more from our Peel session smorgasbord.

Thursday: Marc finishes a live session from Lord Cut Class and the final selection from the archive session dessert trolley . Plus Rob Hughes returns to take Marc into a Parallel Universe

This week's archive sessions are from Delta 5 (at the behest of Kelvin from the band).  the Pixies, the Great Leap Forward and King (not that one, other one, the one which featured Captain Sensible),

Brain Surgery Christmas party Marc and Guy's Christmas Party 2008
Each year Mr Riley and Mr Garvey invite the cream of Manchester's music scene to join them in a seasonal sing song. This year that meant  Elbow, Stephen Fretwell, Liam Frost, Liz Green, the Travelling Band, Beep Seals. Everything Everything and more crammed into the 6 Music studio for your festive entertainment.
