Race Horses and Marc Riley
On Thursday Marc had Race Horses (pictured) in the session stable.  Listen icon Listen again

Monday:  Kurt Vile is live in the studio plus Marc makes his first dip into the archive session selection box.

Tuesday:  There's live music from Jesca Hoop,  a visit from Cowboy Rob Hughes and our second visit to the salad bar of archive sessions.

Wednesday:  Githead play live in the studio plus there's more from our Peel session smorgasbord.

Thursday:  Bromheads return to finish the week and there's a final selection from the archive session dessert trolley .

This week's archive sessions are from Arthur Lee and Love, the Skids, the Dog Faced Hermans. and the  legendary Top Gear Carol Concert.

Marc has recently played classic sessions by the likes of Talaluh Gosh, Sound 3, King and the Delta 5. If you'd like to read some  memories of those sessions just go to  our message board

Brain Surgery Christmas party Marc and Guy's Christmas Party 2008
Each year Mr Riley and Mr Garvey invite the cream of Manchester's music scene to join them in a seasonal sing song. This year that meant  Elbow, Stephen Fretwell, Liam Frost, Liz Green, the Travelling Band, Beep Seals. Everything Everything and more crammed into the 6 Music studio for your festive entertainment.
