Joe's Biography
Joe Mace was born in South London in 1971, and has been there ever since. His early life was spent in farah's and pringle jumpers, swapping Madness singles with his best mate Danny Davis from round the corner.

After a few costume changes during his teens, including 'Morrissey cardigan' and 'acid house dungarees' he settled on jeans and t-shirt for his 20's during which he combined low paid jobs in shops with low paid jobs in nightclubs playing his now very varied record collection.

In 1998 he somehow got a job hosting a 3 hour daily music show on newly born channel UK Play. This job opened the window to other TV jobs, through which he gladly jumped appearing on everything from Joe's Pop Shop (a short-lived sitcom based in a record shop) to Glastonbury (a long running festival based in a field). He took a short detour into Saturday morning TV before returning to music with a show called Sound Travels for 4 Music.

Today he hosts The Album Chart Show on Friday nights on Channel 4. He is a Libran, weighs 11 stone and has no pension or appendix.
