06 November - Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to play their debut album, Fever To Tell, in its entirety at the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival.

The sold-out event, which is in its tenth year, takes place from 11-13 December in Minehead, Somerset.

The 2003 album includes the band’s early classics, Pin, Maps and Date With The Night.
06 November - New York Duo Shy Child have revealed they will have a new album out next year.

Liquid Love is the follow up to 2007's Noise Won't Stop and is slated for release in March.

Fans can get a preview of the new material by visiting the band’s website, where they have put up a free download called Criss Cross.
03 November - Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife, Fabiola Quiroz, after police were called to his house in West London.

Scotland Yard confirmed to 6 Music they were called to a disturbance at a house in W14 on Monday 2 Novermber at 8.05 am GMT.

A 37 year-old woman made an allegation of domestic assault and a man was arrested and bailed, but not charged.

The 46 year-old will return for more questioning next month, following investigations.
 
Brown married the Mexican model and actress around 10 years ago and they have a nine year old son.
03 November - Hot Chip are putting the finishing touches on their fourth album and have announced they will be hitting the road in early 2010.

The 12-date tour of the UK kicks off at the Glasgow Academy on 12 February and wraps up with two shows at London’s Brixton Academy (26,27), with an album due to be released around the same time.

Fans booking through the London quintet’s official site will receive a new track as a free download.
02 November - Michael Jackson's film This Is It has become the highest grossing concert flick of all time pulling in $101m (£61.5m) since its release.

The movie has also shot straight to the top of the UK box office taking in £4.9 million. 

The film documents a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the performer as he developed, created and rehearsed for his 50 sold-out concerts that would have taken place in the summer at London's O2 Arena.
02 November - Green Day have announced two UK stadium shows next year.

The trio will play Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Ground on 16 June and Wembley stadium on 19 June.
 
Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 6 November.

The gigs will be their first since they performed two shows at Milton Keynes National Bowl in 2005.
30 October - Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen shared a stage last night (29 Oct) in a five-hour gig to celebrate 25 years of the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame.

It was a night of collaborations at the Madison Square Garden.

Art Garfunkel joined Paul Simon to perform Bridge Over Troubled Water, Jeff Beck got on stage with Stevie Wonder for Superstition, Crosby and Nash helped Paul Simon cover The Beatles, and Billy Joel turned up to perform with Bruce Springsteen bringing the night to a close.
30 October - The members of Cardiff band Los Campesinos! have been diagnosed with swine flu.

Twenty minutes prior to a show in Leeds, they tweeted: "All our band is being diagnosed with swine flu."

Clarifying it was not a joke, they added: "The show must go on!!"

The rest of the UK tour will go ahead as planned.
