
It is clear how major a role music is playing in London 2012.
Organisers have promised a Cultural Olympiad and it looks like they're delivering with the likes of Blur, Madness and The Specials taking part in a huge concert to celebrate the end of the games.
There are other events taking place in Hyde Park, Victoria Park and Trafalgar Square this summer as part of the Olympics celebrations.
However, that still leaves a question mark over the two biggest shows, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
We know Underworld are musical directors of the former. But who'll play the latter?
Producers have claimed the multi million pound show will be an "elegant mash-up of British music" and "A Symphony Of British Music"' telling the history of British culture, including everything from 'Elgar to Adele.'
There have been rumours that Paul McCartney and Take That will be taking the stage.
But who do the UK's musicians want representing their craft for a worldwide audience?
