Tom Vek returned to the music scene earlier this year after quite a notable absence from the music scene with his second album Leisure Seizure.

He is now gearing up for a five date UK tour in November in support of the much anticipated record.

While he is excited about it now, he admits it hasn't been an easy task to prepare for it:

"It was tricky the first time around and I don't think we ever got to this point where I felt the record was being put across faithfully enough for the point that I wanted it to."

"But I learned a lot of lessons from that" he explained.

As with touring his debut album, he has enlisted three musicians to play with him:

"They are really nice guys, they can play the stuff well and they understand it, we have put a lot of work in and it's good fun."

As well as the tour, he will be featuring on a track on DJ Shadow's upcoming album.

He approached Tom Vek to collaborate on the track 'Warning Call.'

"That was pretty exciting to think I'd even registered on his radar. It's one of those things, I have DJ Shadows' email that's pretty cool."
