The band release their most eagerly anticipated album

The Horrors

The Horrors release their long awaited third album Skying today  (11 July ).

Frontman Faris Badwan told us he believes it is their best work yet:

"I think it's a step forward, I think that is is a lot more melodic, there's a lot more points of entry, it's the best Horrors album without a doubt. "

It has already received a lot of positive reviews and the current single Still Life has been getting a lot of radio airplay.

However, Faris explained that song is not an indication of what's on the rest of the album:

"Maybe from that track people are expecting fewer guitars and more eighties pop but it's not really like that. 

"There's a lot of things, lots of guitars disguised as other things, so maybe it is a little ambiguous."
