
Beyonce, who headlined Glastonbury on Sunday night, was talked about on social networking sites more than any other artist at the festival this year.
According to Brandwatch, which tracked the online buzz surrounding the event for the week leading up to it and during the weekend itself, she beat the likes of Coldplay and U2.
The US singer was mentioned almost 20 thousand times with festival chat peaking during her gig on the final night when there was around 40 thousand mentions in total.
There were almost as many mentions of "mud" as there were Radiohead mentions with rumours of a secret gig breaking out with the same frequency of showers over the weekend.

Mumford & Sons, who recently accounced they would be supporting Arcade Fire at Hyde Park, pulled in thousands of mentions as they performed in front of a huge crowd on the Other Stage.
Unsurprinsgly the folk band have now seen sales of their debut album Sigh No More increase by 1400%.
Old stalwarts of huge headline sets, Chemical Brothers were the second most talked about artist on the stage over the weekend, followed by Primal Scream.
Kaiser Chiefs, who have just released their 4th album, were far down the pecking order, behind bands such as Friendly Fires and The Wombats.

On the John Peel Stage London band Vaccines created a social storm, and were ahead of The Streets by the end of the festival with over 500 mentions.
This year they came third in the BBC Sound Of List.
There was also a lot of love for Los Angeles band Warpaint as well as London rapper Example.

According to Brandwatch sentiment for the festival grew stronger throughout the event, with around 47% of comments being positive.
Interestingly, news that Kate Moss had been turned away from the 'secret' Pulp gig at the Park Stage also sent tongues wagging across social networking sites.
Of all the social sites used by punters, Twitter was found to be the most popular, hosting more Glastonbury buzz than that of Facebook over the week.
