Punk legend Poly Styrene releases her new album Generation Indigo today.
Produced and co-written with Youth, it's been described as her first pop album since the end of X-Ray Spex.
But shortly after it was finished, Poly was diagnosed with cancer, and is currently receiving treatment in a hospice in South England.
A couple of weeks ago, she took time out from her treatment to talk to 6 Music's Marian Lewinski about her punk past, her new album, and her current state of mind.
