The Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci has chatted exclusively to 6 Music about his solo work and future plans for the band.
He is recording his solo album in the UK because he feels a connection here.
"From the very first moment we were here, it kind of solidified a bond that is undeniable," the drummer told 6 Music.
"The people I trust most with music, some of those people are here."
As for Ronnie's solo work, he is not giving too much away as to what it sounds like:
"We all have such a hand in what is put out there under The Killers, I guess mine is I just love rock n roll."
While the band pursue their solo efforts and other projects, they have a few gigs lined up this year and Ronnie says they will start planning the next album then:
"For now it is a ways of, it's difficult to tell, we haven't gotten in a room together yet,"
"It's been said we want to take our time with this next one. we've been guilty of rushing in the past."
