Foo Fighters prepare to unleash their "heaviest album yet" in Milton Keynes

Foo Fighters have announced two massive UK shows for July 2011, at the Milton Keynes Bowl.

Support will come from the likes of Biffy Clyro, Death Cab for Cutie and Tame Impala, with tickets going on sale next week.

Before the gig though, the band will mainly be in Dave Grohl's garage putting the finishing touches to their next record.

Having recently been on a bit of a break, with Dave Grohl busy with Them Crooked Vultures, the band have recently been hard at work on an album produced by Butch Vig.

And, as Mr Grohl told Zane Lowe on Radio 1, it's going to be heavy:
