Johnny Borrell says he can't say for sure whether he'd ever play alongside former Razorlight band member Andy Burrows again.
"That's way, way in the future, I'm just glad that he is doing something that makes him happy, I have plenty of respect for him." He told 6 Music.
Andy Burrows left the band back in 2009, and frontman Borrell , said he would "miss" the drummer, but was adamant Razorlight will continue.
However speaking before the Oxjam charity gig in London last night he claimed it was too early to say when another Razorlight album will see the light of day.
"What's going to happen I don’t know, that's crystal ball, at the moment I am having a great time."
Asked when he was most happy, Johnny replied: "I am starting to write some amazing songs, it's an amazing bunch of guys and I wouldn’t swap it for anything in the world, I just love being in a band, and I just find it hard to understand those that don’t really."
Borrell confirmed that his present band will have new music out in the first half of 2011.
