Universal backs Sa Dingding to break the western market

We've been talking to China's biggest popstar Sa Dingding.

Musicians from south east Asia rarely if ever break out of that market but this singer-songwriter could challenge that.

She mixes traditional oriental folk music with more contemporary electronica and her sound is being compared to Bjork by some western media.

Sa Dingding is signed to Universal and there is a real push to break her across the world.
