Lily Allen picked up her first Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist but confirmed she’s on hiatus from music and is concentrating on her record label.
The outspoken songstress triumphed over some stiff competition from Florence and the Machine, Bat For Lashes, Pixie Lott and Leona Lewis.
Speaking at the Earl’s Court bash on Tuesday 16 February, she was not too concerned EMI, which owns her label Parlophone, reported a pre-tax loss for the year to March 2009 of 1.7 billion pounds.
"I imagine it’s quite worrying for them," she said. "I personally am leaving so I don’t really mind. I’m just not making another album for a while. I’m moving on to pastures new so record sales and stuff aren’t really bothering me right now."
When asked if she will miss music, she replied: "Yeah I’m sure I will. I’m not really leaving. It’s just I like to be doing things all the time and right now I’m moving on from doing this for a bit and I’m doing something else."
"I just don't really want to go on the road for another three years."

Her second album It's Not Me, It's You was released in February last year, debuting at number one in the UK album chart.
"I’m not making another album right now, which is what people usually at this point in an album cycle would be thinking about the next record and I’m not, I’m having some time off," she said.
As for why, she added: "I just don’t really want to go on the road for another three years."
In the meantime, work on her label is coming on: "I’m in my office, I’ve got people working with me and we’re making progress."
She hasn’t signed anyone yet though.
