More Rock Ness Acts

The Orb confirmed for Scottish Fest
28 March 08 - Rock Ness have confirmed a further 30 new acts for the 2008 line up, and promised even more big names will be announced over the coming weeks.

Soulwax will perform live at the Scottish festival on the Saturday and so will dance superstar Mylo.

Sunday 8 June sees a performance from The Orb and other new acts announced include Late of the Pier and Does It Offend You Yeah?

Also at the event in will be Australia’s electro prog-rockers Midnight Juggernauts who are due to play a set alongside David E Sugar, Parisien producer Alan Braxe and The Black Ghosts.

Razorlight and Fatboy Slim

Fatboy Slim, Underworld, Razorlight and Editors have previously been announced for Rock Ness.

And other acts at the festival, which happens on 7 and 8 June, include The View, Roisin Murphy, CSS, Hadouken!, Simian Mobile Disco, The Cribs, The Twang and Digitalism.

Organisers have also confirmed new arenas will be added for 2008 including Skins Live, headlined this year by Chicago house DJ Felix Da Housecat.

For the third year the festival will take place on the shores of Loch Ness, outside the picturesque village of Dores, four miles south-west of Inverness.
