Radiohead - In Rainbows

Radiohead for XL?

Reports the band are on brink of confirming new deal
23 Oct 07 - It's reported Radiohead are going to sign with indie label XL Recordings, who released Thom Yorke's solo record Eraser last year.

According to The New York Times the band on the verge of inking a unique deal that will see the band retain ownership of their recording.

The label would just be able license the album "for a specific period of time." The New York Times also says Radiohead would release the album in the US through ATO Records in tandem with Side One Recordings.

No confirmation yet from Radiohead's people, but they told 6 Music an announcement on the band's future is due very soon.

It's expected In Rainbows will be released on CD early next year.

It's available now as a download and Radiohead will also independently issue a £40 discbox version in December.
